Mollie - Purchase payment terminal (In person payments)

Before you can purchase a payment terminal (Point of Sale) through Mollie, it is important that your Crossuite account is linked to Mollie. How to do this can be found in this article Mollie - Activating online payments

To proceed with the purchase of a payment terminal (Point of Sale) via Mollie in Crossuite, go to [My account] and select [Integrations].
Choose the [Practice integrations] tab. Under ‘Online payments’, select the integration with Mollie and click [Dashboard].



A new tab will prompt you to log in to your Mollie account. Do this with the e-mail address and password you use for your Mollie account.

When purchasing a terminal, it is essential that you do so from the correct Mollie account.
  1. New Mollie account via Crossuite: When you create an account from our Mollie integration, your Crossuite profile is automatically linked to your account.
  2. Already existing Mollie account: If you were already using Mollie before connecting with Crossuite, you may have two profiles.
To ensure that the terminal is ready to use instantly, it must be linked to your Crossuite profile. Therefore, make sure you purchase the terminal from the Crossuite profile, check this before purchasing.

Once logged in to Mollie, you will be taken to the home screen. Under the ‘Getting started’ section here, you choose the ‘Point of Sale’ option.



The following screen will give you an overview of the main benefits. To proceed to purchase a payment terminal (In person payment), click [Get started].



You are given a choice between a ‘Mobile Terminal’ and a ‘Kiosk Terminal’. You choose the [Mobile Terminal] in this case.



You get a summary page with all the information about the selected ‘Mobile Terminal’. You click the [Buy Now] button to proceed to placing your order for the terminal.

On the screenshots above, you only see the option to purchase a terminal. When purchasing a terminal, you pay the purchase price and there are no further fixed costs associated with the terminal. Besides purchasing a terminal, you can also choose to rent a terminal. The cost of renting a terminal is €20.00 per terminal per month (as shown under ‘Transparent costs’).
A pop-up will open with the order screen for the payment terminal (Point of Sale), you choose the delivery address, accept the terms and conditions and click order to complete your purchase.
