Set a work schedule

With work schedule, you set the slots. The slots are used to display availability in the agenda and in online bookings.

Go to [Settings] > [Appointments] > [Schedules]. Click [+] at the top right to insert a new schedule, or click  to change an existing schedule.


Fill in the necessary details and define the period using the start and end dates. Click the cross at the end date to make this repeat itself every week.

The period determines the validity period of the schedule and thus its visibility in the calendar.

Set schedule in basic mode



Tick the desired days and set the working time for each day. Add breaks with the [+ Add break] button, or remove configured breaks with . Click [+] next to ‘Week 1’ to create an alternating schedule. For example, if you only work week 1 on Monday and Friday and week 2 on Wednesday and Thursday, it is possible to set it that way. 

Set schedule in extended mode

In extended mode, you have more flexibility around slot creation e.g. creating slots for different locations on the same day.
Warning
When you switch back to basic mode, all extended mode settings will be ignored and only basic mode settings will be shown in the calendar.
In the diagram, click on the preferred starting point and use the dots to drag this selected area to the right size. This area specifies the slots to be created.


Click [ + Create Slots ] to set up the slots. Change the necessary settings here and click [Create Slots].
The settings allow you to change the following things:
  1. Duration of the block
  2. Duration of a slot: depending on the duration, the number of slots is determined
  3. Slot location: the location is automatically selected when creating an appointment on this slot.
  4. Appointment type: the appointment type is automatically selected when creating an appointment on this slot.
Warning
Appointment Type & Location is also important for online bookings, depending on the patient's preselection, only these slots are shown.
