Creating an Email Template with the Editor
Go to Settings -> Communication -> Email Templates. Select the appropriate category (e.g., Appointments to select this template when sending the flash mail) and click [+] in the top right corner.

Enter the title and subject of the template here. The title is only visible within Crossuite, the subject will be visible to patients. Select a mail address to use for sending in 'from'. When selecting the 'Dynamic' option, the sender's mail address is used.

The moment you click in the 'Subject' text field, auto-fields appear on the left side. These add dynamic content to your subject. Click on a category such as Patient, and click on the desired field to add it to your cursor position in the subject or in the email template. These auto-fields are filled in automatically.
Click
to modify the template. The editor is displayed here. On the right, the various options are displayed.
- 'Content' contains the modules for adding content to the template.
- 'Blocks' allows you to format the template as desired.
- 'Body' contains extra settings such as the color of the text or background and the font.
Click on a desired module and drag it to the editor's main screen to add it. Once added, modify the module by clicking on it.
As an example, we will add a 'Text' module.

Changes you make in the editor are automatically saved.
Click on the text field to modify the text. Options for text formatting are shown below the text field. [Merge tags] contains the auto-fields that are also available in the subject. On the right, you get extra options for formatting the text.
Click 'Mobile' in the top right to show and modify the mobile view.
We will now add a 'Divider' module to add a line under the heading.
Click on a module to drag it to a different position if necessary. Click
[Duplicate] to make a copy.
Use the 'Column' module to change the design. This will make various options available on the right, such as background color or a background image. Drag a 'Text' module into this field to apply the background color to it.
Use the modules to further customize the template. Click the cross in the top right once the template is fully created. An example of the template is shown below the subject;
Finally, it is possible to add a file that is attached to the email by default. Click [Create Template] once everything is set up as desired. This template is now available for use.
