Connecting Crossuite calendar to an external calendar app (e.g. Google calendar or Apple calendar)
Create link to synchronise calendar
Through a link that you insert into your personal calendar, all appointments are synchronised from Crossuite to your personal calendar.
Go to [Settings] > [Appointments] > [Connected calendars]. Click [+] at the top right to insert a new link.
After a link is created it cannot be modified. If adjustments are needed, you must create a new link.
Set up link
Several options are available when creating a link:
Which appointments
- Set a date from when the synchronisation should happen. This can also be a date in the past to synchronise old appointments with, or 1 in the future to synchronise from a certain day.
- For multiple locations, choose 1 or more locations to synchronise appointments from.
- Choose only certain appointment types or all of them.
Display in calendar
- Additional choice of which appointments you wish to synchronise :
- Only those with linked patients
- Only those without linked patients
- Or both
- You set this by checking or unchecking [Include appointments].
After this, you set how the appointment title appears in your own calendar.
- No change: they are displayed as in the Crossuite calendar (can include patient names)
- Appointment type: the title is the appointment type (e.g. Follow-up consultation)
- Custom: All appointment titles are replaced with a word of your own choosing (e.g. work)
After this, click [Save].
After saving, a link appears, which you copy and then insert into your own personal calendar.
